Welcome to the Hildesheim Forest! With this app, we not only want to motivate residents of the Hildesheim district to rediscover their home region, but also encourage tourists to explore the diverse region of the Hildesheim Forest.

You can discover the Hildesheim Forest and the surrounding area, the village of Diekholzen itself, and the districts belonging to the municipality on 18 hikes totaling over 185 kilometers.

Cultural monuments, sights, and gems in the municipality of Diekholzen and around the Hildesheim Forest invite you to take a break from everyday life. Enjoy the untouched nature and the enchanting river landscapes of the Innerste and Beuster rivers.

On the 6 km to 18 km family-friendly tours, you can collect digital stamps with the app at 30 places worth seeing.

The history and background of the information point are presented in text and images, as well as an audio guide.

Anyone who visits 20 stamping stations can collect their hiking badge at Diekholzen Town Hall and the Bad Salzdetfurth and Hildesheim Tourist Information Centers.

The app is your digital companion and offers descriptions, elevation profiles, and navigation assistance for all trails. It shows you your current location, points of interest along the route, and the location of the information/stamping stations. Information on refreshment and overnight accommodations completes the offering.
