The guide provided information on indications and criteria for reimbursement, dosages (including adjustment in renal failure), precautions and cons-indications, pharmacokinetics, interactions, management of peri and post-operative, the management of bleeding, as well as recommendations on the monitoring of patients. Useful calculators for calculating creatinine clearance and for risk scales CHADS₂, HAS-BLED CHA₂DS₂VASC and were incorporated to facilitate patient care.
