GhostApp

GhostApp is an art app to visualize the usage of your smartphone.
The “Ghost” counter on the screen indicates the number of times your smartphone has been activated, while additionally logging the total hours of screen time.
The app keeps track of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly smart phone usage, so that you can better understand your relationship to your device.
# Synchronizing with the installation
The usage data collected by GhostApp interacts with the GhostHouse art installation created by “h.o”.
When a user activates and deactivates a smart phone with GhostApp installed, the Ghosthouse installation will react to these changes.
The following information will be used for the installation:
- Time of activation
- Length of activation
- Phone ID Number
