WHO WE ARE

Euronews Romania is the first branded affiliate launched by Euronews in the European Union, on May 25, 2022. In total, there are five such projects under the parent station's umbrella, in Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia and Georgia. On January 6, 2020, Euronews announced the signing of the partnership with the Politehnica University of Bucharest (UPB) for the emergence of a new news channel in Romania, in the Romanian language, under the brand that enjoys global recognition.

Euronews Romania sets its agenda around the European identity of our country. Our Romanian news station brings the strong European values ​​of its parent station, Euronews, to the fore at the national level.

Euronews Romania operates on the principle of All Views, stated, supported and implemented at the highest journalistic standards.
