éCO2mix - RTE APP

RTE is the operator of the public electricity transmission network in France, employing 10,000 people. As a public utility, its mission is to ensure reliable, economical, and sustainable access to electricity for all. RTE operates, maintains, and develops the largest electricity network in Europe, with nearly 107,000 km of high- and extra-high-voltage lines, including 37 interconnection lines in service. It plays a key role in balancing the electricity system, transporting electricity from producers (French and European) to distributors and large industrial consumers.

Developed by RTE, the free éCO₂mix app allows everyone to better understand how the French and European electricity systems work. Available online, on smartphones, and on tablets, it offers a clear and informative visualization of data 24/7. You can:
- Monitor the operation of the French electricity system in real time: consumption, production mix, and greenhouse gas emissions;
- View trade at the borders with six neighboring countries and consult spot prices (day-ahead) on European markets;
- View regional data in real time: local consumption and production by sector;
- Access key figures to put the current state of the electricity system into perspective with the past.

With éCO₂mix, RTE invites you to dive into the heart of a living electricity system. Electricity consumption reflects our daily lives: it rises when we wake up, increases with economic activity, reaches a peak at the end of the day, then decreases in the evening. It varies according to the time of day, the day of the week, and the season—more intense in winter, calmer on weekends. Thanks to more than 15 million data points available in real time, viewable in the form of graphs, lists or curves by sector (nuclear, hydraulic, wind, solar, etc.), éCO₂mix allows you to better understand the global electricity system.
