The fault detector offers more than 60 error tracking events commonly seen in text and provides concrete ways to improve the ability to detect errors and to recognize the nature. The resource is for people who want to hone their skills correction, or to those who wish to self-correct more effectively.

The exercises are presented in order of increasing difficulty in four sections: 1. Locate faults by categories (word spelling, grammatical spelling, syntax, punctuation, vocabulary) 2. Categorize faults 3. Identify and categorize faults with clues 4. Locate and categorize faults without clues. Bonus: a Challenge section for those wishing to measure its performance with that of other participants with opportunities to share their results on Facebook.
