The Kookapp supports people with mild intellectual disabilities and people with a different need for help in preparing healthy meals independently and with pleasure. The Kookapp helps with grocery shopping and cooking within an appropriate budget.

The Cooking App takes you through the process of purchasing and cooking in clear, simple steps. The Cooking App is full of images and videos explaining cooking utensils and ingredients.

The Cooking App has six clear steps. This provides overview and structure to the user and gives confidence during cooking:

1. Shopping list (checklist with pictures of the products)
2. Wash hands
3. Prepare (collect and check cookware and ingredients)
4. Preparation (measuring, weighing, cutting all ingredients for the meal)
5. Cooking (guided by a step-by-step plan per preparation)
6. Serving
