We tried to do new game mechanic where player's job isn't to move the main character but to protect him.
Take control of a sharp black spike and shield your delicate bubble companion from waves of threats flying through the sky. One hit and it's all over.
Some threats (like evil bubbles) are destroyed by the direct collision. Other (like acid or wood) should be destroyed by staying by a guardian in front of danger.
