🔬 Backed by Research
CatsMe!’s AI was co-developed by Carelogy Inc. and Nihon University’s College of Bioresource Sciences (Department of Veterinary Medicine), in collaboration with the Animal Pain Research Association.

It was trained on ~6,000 expertly labeled cat facial images using the "Feline Grimace Scale" from the University of Montreal. Since launching the web version in May 2023, over 240,000 users worldwide have contributed to the AI’s growth.

As of June 2024, our AI achieves over 95% accuracy in detecting pain expressions—and it's only improving.
