Car-Pal is a subscription based carpooling app with built in security measures, meant to assist people that are unable to afford daily fuel or do not have any means of transportation. This app is designed for office going people or for university students who commute towards their work through the same route. This app will provide ease for people who cannot afford a different transportation everyday with varying prices or daily fuel consumption.
This app will allow the user to subscribe to one or more drivers\passengers. It will also provide a female filter in the browse passenger/driver option where female users can choose to go with female drivers or passengers. It also work to solve security constraints with the help of an emergency button.
Goal of this app is to provide a proper and secure platform on the concepts of carpool for people who are looking for such services and especially for office/university going people who cannot afford the daily fuel.

A Subscription model: Allows user to subscribe to a passenger or driver so that they don’t have to find rides daily to commute.
Female Users: As security is a huge concern for females, a female filter is available in the browse passengers/drivers option so that any female not comfortable with a male driver or passenger can subscribe to a female user.
Emergency Button: An emergency button is available for both drivers and passengers to press at times of danger. When pressed, live location will be sent to nearby police stations and emergency services.
Location Tracking: The Google maps API integrated in the app allows users to track live location, as well as route tracking and finding alternate routes, all of which are provided by Google maps API.
