Bug.Control is an independent tool with an informative role on microorganisms, pathologies and measures to prevent transmission during treatment.
The content of this application does not replace the protocols in force in your establishment or structure, nor the advice of your infection prevention team.
Its objective is to inform the professional in the management of a patient carrying or infected by a microorganism at risk of transmission. The scientific content of this application was produced and validated by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, pharmacists and healthcare executives. The information present in this application is consistent with knowledge in 2023, both in terms of infectious diseases and infection prevention. The references used for the development of this application are the PILLY of the College of Infectious and Tropical Diseases academics, the standard and complementary precautions recommendations of the French Society of Hospital Hygiene, and the Canadian and Australian international recommendations.
This nationally distributed tool supported by the MATIS mission was developed by the CPias Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the information system management of the Bordeaux University Hospital with the participation of the Infection Prevention and Control unit of the Hygiene department Hospitalist at Bordeaux University Hospital.
