Can I use the app with my e-bike?
Unfortunately, not all bikes that have our drive can use the app. Just check with the app to see if your bike is compatible before signing up or have a look at the following website: https://www.brose-ebike.com/de-en/app-compatible-ebikes/index.html. The app is compatible with all e-bike models listed there. All other bikes are unfortunately not available for the app at this time.
How can I connect my bike to the app?
• Download the e-Bike app from the App Store
• Start the app and activate the bluetooth function of your smartphone
• Turn on your e-bike and activate the bluetooth function as well
• Follow the instructions in the app to connect now
• Your e-bike connects to the app
• The app is then ready to use with all its functions
The most important things at a glance:
You will be assisted step by step in adding the bike, so you can take advantage of the app in no time. The home screen gives you a complete overview of your e-bike's battery status, available range, and current connection status. Here you can also see a summary of your previous rides. Connect multiple e-bikes to the app and switch between them. With the "start ride“ function, you're ready to go - start your ride!
Record rides in your individual dashboard:
During the ride, the app shows you live data of your performance in the dashboard. Every pedal stroke, every kilometer ridden is evaluated and summarized for you to optimize your performance. This includes average and current speed, motor and human power, cadence, the support level used and many more. Decide for yourself what interests you during the ride and exchange the values flexibly. Whether you're a beginner or a cycling pro, the app helps you stay motivated on the go.
Document your performance:
Review your ride and look at your performance in detail - did you outdo yourself? The app creates a summary for each recorded ride. Additionally, link Komoot with the Brose e-Bike app and upload your rides there automatically.
