base Chat

base Chat enables you to communicate via instant messenger with your colleagues at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte). You can share files and instant message in real time. base Chat is encrypted and all data is stored exclusively on servers of the university.

base Chat receives push notifications and informs you when colleagues send you messages. You can determine in the settings how you will be informed about these messages in the respective channels.

base Chat is based on the open source solution Rocket.Chat and is part of the single sign-on environment base Angewandte. The application was specially adapted by ameisenhaufen.at for the needs of the Angewandte.
