AfriForum 911’s emergency and medical emergency reaction app (with blue and red buttons, respectively) connects you directly to any applicable service provider in South Africa where these services are provided. By simply pressing a button, you can alert service providers, who will reach you as soon as possible to support you and your dependants with care at an exact GPS-determined location – even if you cannot speak or do not know where you are. Direct alerts mean faster response times and the real-time transfer of information to reaction personnel so that you know help is on its way.]
Extend your safety and medical network significantly. Ensure the safety and wellness of your family: Download the AfriForum 911 Emergency Button app today. Also save the AfriForum 911 emergency number (086 111 6154) on your smart phone as a contact.
The AfriForum 911 Emergency Button app connects you to a country-wide network of private armed response and medical emergency reaction services – by simply pressing a button. Remember that you must have available data on your smart phone and that your smart phone’s location services must be activated to enable you to use some of these services.
• Send for one free armed reaction and one free medical emergency reaction service per month for you and your family (a maximum six people, who share this benefit). Please note that medical transportation services and any other related medical costs are not covered by this member benefit.
• See in real-time via app notifications who is on their way to help you.
• Create groups from your smart phone’s contact list.
• Invite your contacts to join your groups. People who form part of your groups must 1) be on your contact list, 2) have downloaded and registered on the AfriForum 911 Emergency Button app and 3) have accepted your invitation to the group.
• Send alerts to pre-selected family members to send for their help in case of an emergency. Family members can also send alerts on your behalf if you are in distress.
