■ Application introduction
“ADT Caps Mobile Access Card” is an “application card” for operating installation devices provided to customers who use the mechanical security service (crime prevention service) or access control service provided by SK Shielders.

It has the same functions as the plastic cards that SK Shielders normally provides to target customers.

Supports mobile app and smartwatch app (Wear OS).

■ Card use conditions
- Mobile app
The NFC/Bluetooth function of the user's smartphone must be activated.

- Smartwatch app (Wear OS)
The Bluetooth function of your smartwatch must be activated.
The Wear OS version of this app is used for communication with BLE-based devices (entry and exit devices).
The Wear app cannot be run alone, and must be used after completing the user authentication card issuance process in the mobile app.

A mobile app is required because the functions provided through BLE communication work with card data issued to users who have completed identity verification on the mobile app.
Wear apps are designed so that they cannot run without a mobile app, and in such situations, a guidance message is displayed to the user and exception handling is completed to prevent the app from abnormally terminating.

This structure complies with Android system policies and Google Play policies and is designed with user security and privacy in mind.


■ Access permission information
1. Mobile app
- Nearby device (required)
Used for Bluetooth communication and communication with entry/exit devices.

- Location (optional)
To activate the function, it is used for Bluetooth communication and communication with access devices according to the user's selection.
This app detects nearby BLE beacons or Bluetooth devices and requests location permission to perform certain events (such as automatic screen turn on).
The Android operating system requires location permission for Bluetooth LE scanning, and this app does not collect or store actual GPS coordinates or user location.

- Camera (optional)
Used to save card image data and take employee ID photos.

- Notification (optional)
Used to receive notifications.

2. Smartwatch app (Wear OS)
- Nearby device (required)
Used for Bluetooth communication and communication with entry/exit devices.


※ If you do not allow the required permissions, the app may not operate properly, and you can use services other than the corresponding function even if you do not allow the optional permissions.
※ You can stop access to this permission in settings. When you update your app, add-ons may be automatically added within each group.
