CIAT, a prayer app that connects Korean diaspora Christians scattered across 180 countries around the world, allows us to experience that we are one body, transcending the constraints of time and space. At the center of this app is the 24-hour prayer room, “Mark’s Attic.” It was created with the hope that today’s diaspora will connect through prayer, just as the diaspora mission began with prayer in the Book of Acts. When you enter the prayer room from your own place in life, you can feel the presence of those praying together at that time, and intercession and encouragement for each other naturally flow.
In the prayer room, you can actually meditate on the Word, pray, share prayer topics, and communicate with each other through heartfelt chats. Furthermore, you can share stories and visions that occur in each missionary life and restore your mission and identity as a diaspora community. In the diaspora life, which can easily become lonely and isolated, this prayer app is a warm community that you can always return to, and a space that ignites the flame of prayer for the world.
