"Elevation Check" is a convenient app that allows you to instantly check your altitude.

Uses GPS to accurately display the altitude of your current location. By moving the pin to any location on the map, you can also obtain elevation information for that point. Save important elevation data as a list for later reference or share with friends and family in text format. It also has a function to switch to the aerial map view, allowing you to check more detailed terrain information.

This app is only for Japan.
Elevation data is obtained from the highly reliable Geospatial Information Authority of Japan.
An internet connection is required to use the app.
