After the American forces entered Baghdad in April 2003, the US military governor Paul Bremer dissolved the Iraqi News Agency (INA) .. the only official agency operating in Iraq since 1959 and the source of news for newspapers, television and radio stations, which led to the absence of any news agency in the Iraqi arena. This new situation has prompted a number of workers in the dissolved Iraqi News Agency, especially those who are distinguished in the professionalism of journalistic work, to think of the importance of finding an effective alternative for a "conscious" to take its role in supplying newspapers, satellite channels, radio and other media sources, especially with the expansion of their spread.
The agency / NINA / fought its way in the arena of events with all abilities and became within a short period of its life an important source of news due to its impartiality, objectivity, accuracy in information and an integrated and distinct artistic formulation, which encouraged many international organizations to agree with it to support its news project and approve its news.

"NINA" participated in the work of the "AWANA" conference, its fifteenth session, which was held in Moscow along with more than / 40 / news agencies from Asia and the Pacific.
It also participated in the International Conference of International News Agencies, which was held in Riyadh during the month of November 2013, among 77 Arab and foreign news agencies.
And within its future plans, NINA has put in place the expansion of opening more offices, especially in the Arab region and Asian countries, and NINA is associated with bilateral agreements with a number of news agencies to enhance the exchange of news and information and to be informed of developments in scientific progress in this regard.
Dozens of satellite channels, local radio stations, newspapers, media centers, foreign embassies, ministries and official institutions, in addition to political figures of various orientations, participate in the newsletter "NINA".

NINA has undertaken the task of covering political, security, economic, social, sports and artistic events since its inception and throughout the governorates of Iraq, as it has a network of correspondents using all advanced technical means to deliver the news, information and report to its subscribers with all honesty, honesty and professionalism. She recorded a distinguished scoop in various fields of events.

NINA was able to be the first agency in Iraq and is dealt with officially by the state and its ministries, in addition to political movements and civil society organizations, as its news is officially taken from many Arab and foreign authorities.
Through her distinguished work, she managed to win the respect of everyone in extremely delicate and dangerous circumstances in Iraq, especially during the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, where the bloody conflict between ethnic, religious, sectarian, and political groups and external influence was most intense.
It contributed with all its effort and the experience of its editors to extinguishing the strife by keeping away from the excitement and the news that fuels sectarian differences, and worked in its directions so that stability prevails in Iraq and is free, united and independent.
