Compassion, an international childcare organization that started in 1952 to help war orphans in Korea, is currently nurturing more than 2.3 million children holistically (intellectually, socio-emotionally, physically, and spiritually) so that they can become self-reliant adults who can transform their families and regions, along with over 8,800 churches in 29 countries around the world.
Compassion Korea was established in 2003 as the first country to transition from a beneficiary country to a sponsor country, and currently approximately 140,000 children are being raised by Korean sponsors.
