The book Riyadh al-Salehin, from the words of the Master of the Messengers, was written by Imam Yahya bin Sharaf al-Nawawi al-Dimashqi. In this book, he collects authentic hadiths narrated from the Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah in all matters of faith and life, and presents them arranged in sections and chapters, so that they are topics that are easy for the reader to return to and benefit from.

Imam Al-Nawawi committed himself in Riyadh Al-Salehin to only mention authentic hadiths, and his hadiths on various topics such as: acts of worship, transactions, and customs, so that Imam Al-Nawawi issues the entire hadith with a title of what the hadiths contain so that it becomes a chapter for those hadiths.

The book Riyad al-Saliheen without Net, 1903, includes narrated hadiths, limited to the text, without mentioning the chain of transmission, starting with the Companion, and rarely with the Tabi’i, and it transmits the sayings of the Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and his actions as narrated by the Companions, and in a few cases, he transmits some of the sayings and actions of the Companions, following the Messenger Muhammad, or diligently based on his guidance.

Al-Nawawi said about his book: “So I decided to compile a summary of the authentic hadiths and commit myself to mentioning only authentic hadiths from the clear ones added to the well-known authentic books.” A number of contemporaries verified it and weakened some of the hadiths of Riyadh, including Sheikh Al-Albani and Al-Arna’ut, and they ruled 3% of the book weak, and with This result indicates that it has reached a high degree of validity.
