NATURING is an open network that shares nature experience experiences as a tool to observe, record, and search nature. It is also a new system that organizes most of the day's nature that only you can meet at 'there then'. Nature mapping supports and carries out various civic science projects to contribute to ecosystem conservation by simply recording nature.

■ Record the creatures of our country
When you see the creature you want to share, please record it in Natureing. You can provide a lot of ecological information just by inputting a minimum amount of information, and you can complete the record by asking and answering even if you do not know the name. Find all the creatures in Korea with your naturalization.
■ Meet the nature of today
You can check the nature of 'the place' recorded by natural observers of the country along with official bio information of Korea. Do ecological searches with taxon, habitat, region, and more.
■ Create and join a mission with a theme
Create and manage new missions, and participate in other people's proposed missions. Everyone from an interesting suggestion to a research project can contribute to ecosystem conservation as a citizen scientist just by recording nature.
■ Nature Features
- ecosystem perspective
Nature recording method of natural observation is based on ecological concept recognition. The observer's record is completed by adding various environmental information around the organism such as observation time and location, climate, and the habitat of each taxon. Environmental observations such as habitats allow us to understand ecologically how 'living', 'when', '' where '' and '' how '' lives beyond the fact that 'living things' exist. Nature provides effective ecological and environmental information on living organisms so that anyone can easily experience ecological natural observations.
- fieldwork
Natureing mobile apps serve as a portable watchdog, as well as a tool for searching, sharing, and communicating with nature observations. When you meet a creature you want to record, you can open the app and shoot and record immediately. You can check past records and other people's records at that time so that you can build a richer knowledge and richer experience through the union and intersection of observation records. Also, you can ask and answer the names of unknown creatures right from the spot, and you can communicate in real time by sharing comments and SNS.
- Persistence
Each natural observation recorded in Natureing can be used as meaningful data. It can be categorized into various criteria and themes such as biological taxa, habitat, time, region, climate, observer, etc. to continuously observe and interpret the current ecology as well as the constantly moving ecosystem. Records of creatures and environments that add up, disappear and change over time will reflect changes in the ecosystem.
- Openness
Nature is a place where anyone can easily sign up and act and share their observations. It is natural use of Natureing to observe other creatures from the standpoint of nature and share them with all of them, not from the viewpoint of humans who are watching and using nature. Sharing and communication is originally nature. Sharing natural observations and records is also one of the most ecologically natural ways of doing things.
- Ecological mapping
All natural observations recorded in the nature are displayed on the map. One spot on the map is a natural observation, a creature, a civil scientist, an experience, and a small ecosystem. Each spot can be a map of climate change, a spring map, or a firefly map, a school map, or a map of biodiversity exploration (BioBlitz). This map is full of invaluable information about the habitat of the creature, time and climate, and bio photographs. All records of Natureing are gathered in ecological maps, and all observers become citizen scientists who record the ecology of Korea.
[Select access detail]
- Location: This is the permission required to record the location of the creature based on the current location, when setting the mission area, and to search the observation history posts.
- Camera: This is the right to take pictures / movies.
- Storage: This is the right for uploading photos and videos to Natureing and saving photos and videos to Gallery.
※ The ability to set each of these rights is available from Android 6.0 or later. If you are using a version of Android prior to 6.0, you need to update your software to configure your app permissions. After you've finished updating your software, you can edit your existing permissions in Device Settings.
[Note]
- In order to record, share, and manage natural observations comfortably in Natureizing App, it is recommended to install in Android 5.0 or later environment.
- If you have any problems while using the app, please contact us at support@nating.net.
