About KidsAlert – because the well-being of the child is the most important thing
KidsAlert is more than just an app. It is a joint voice of all those who do not agree to indifference to the dangers that children face in the digital world today. Created out of the need of the heart, it was created thanks to the determination of one woman and the support of thousands of people who – like us – cannot calmly watch what is happening on social media.
It is there, in places that were supposed to be for fun and contact, that children encounter violence, blackmail, sexualization and manipulation. We reported it. We spoke out. Unfortunately, too often instead of help, we received blocks, silencing, and range restrictions.
That is why KidsAlert was created – an independent, social app, free from algorithms that sweep under the carpet instead of protecting. An app that allows every parent, teacher and guardian to be one step ahead of the threat. Here, one thing counts: children's safety.
In the Alerts tab, we keep you up to date on disturbing trends, new threats and hidden risks online. Also here, in the upper right corner, you will see a megaphone icon, which you can use to inform us about new observed dangerous trends among young people.
In the Help Map tab, there are hotlines and contact details for professionals who will provide professional help to people in a mental crisis or difficult life situation.
In the About KidsAlert tab - a few words about us and the Partners who support us with their knowledge, experience and commitment - both in terms of security, as well as the content and technical development of the application.
For the mental comfort of users, there is an option to automatically blur images that may contain drastic content. This function can be enabled in the application browsing settings - so that using KidsAlert is safe not only in terms of information, but also emotionally.
The application is intended exclusively for adults (18+) and is available free of charge in the Google Play and App Store (Android/iOS).
