The book is by Hussein bin Muhammad bin Al-Mufaddal, Abu Al-Qasim Al-Isfahani (or Al-Asbahani), known as Al-Raghib: a writer, one of the wise scholars.
From the people of Isfahan, he lived in Baghdad and became famous, to the point where he was associated with Imam Al-Ghazali.
Among his books are (Lectures of Writers - Edition) in two volumes, and (Al-Dhari’ah ila Makram Al-Sharia - Edition) and (Al-Akhlaq) which is called (Akhlaq Al-Raghib) and (Jami’ Al-Tafsir) a large one, the introduction to which was printed. Al-Baydawi took from him in his interpretation, and (Al-Mufradat fi Gharib Al-Qur’an). - T) and (Solving the Ambiguities of the Qur’an - T) and (Details of the Origins - T) in wisdom and psychology, and (Tahqiq al-Bayan - T) in language and wisdom, and a book on (Belief - T) and (Afanin al-Balagha)

It is an indispensable book in explaining the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an. The book is classified in the manner of dictionaries in the order of the letters of the alphabet. The book is one of the greatest books ever written on the words of the Qur’an and explaining their meanings.
